NOTES:
  • (re: JDeut. 7:10:)  "...and (GOD) repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them; he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face..."  Peter, in his 2nd letter, (ch. 3, v 9), refers to this explicitly:  "...the LORD is not slack concerning his promises, as some men count slackness,  but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance...) He, (Peter) explains what those promises are in the next verse, when he warns that "...the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night...", and great calamity, catastrophe, and destruction will occur.  This also refers to the verse in (the book of the)  Revelations of John, (ch. 1, v7), "...every eye shall see, every nation and kindred shall... wail...".God's promises are inescapable, without salvation.
