Notes, relevant references:
  • (re: Jer. 25:10) '...the voice of the bride, and the voice of the bridegroom shall no more be heard in Jerusalem', repeats  Jer. 7:34;
  • (re: Jer. 25:31);  HE has a controversy with ALL the nations;  America, whose government has biblical foundations for liberty, etc., is not the ultimate government;  Is. 9:6:  "the government will be upon HIS shoulders..."
  • (re: Joel 2:13)  'rend your hearts, not your garments...' is an admonition to don't do lip-service; don't "virtue-signal";  instead, be and do what you ought, Israel. Repent! Be converted! Forsake your wicked, cruel, evil ways.
  • (re: Is. 44:9) '...you shall be your won witnesses...' Your gods you made can do nothing; they neither speak, hear, or move;  You will, one day, bow your knee, and confess that these creatures, creations from your imagination,  are not God, and will know God is GOD.

Marks; of the beast or ?? 12 Oct. 2022

  •  Ezek. 8:1 - E
    • Jer. 7:22 - E
  • Ezek.  9: ALL
  • Rev. 7: ALL
  • Jer. 16:14 - E
(aside) Notes.
(re:) Jer. 7:34:  [...talking to Israel...]  the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. will no longer be heard in Jerusalem...!  the "BRIDE" is Israel, Not the church!  Israel was betrothed, to God, at Sinai; they never remained 'chaste' but went and played the harlot with all the nations 'round about her.  This is evident in all the books of the prophets, to say nothing of some of Paul's letters, and the verbal castigation Jesus gave to the religious leaders that accosted him every day, in the streets and in the synagogue.
(cf:   Matt. 23  & Luke 11).

    • Heb. 3: 7 - 15
  • Zech. 1:18 - E
  • Zech. 2: ALL
  • Rev. 21: all
Notes, related thoughts and
  • (re: Matt. 25):  a comparison of 'TAKEN' and the 5 foolish virgins:  it's not good to be 'taken'!  (notice, the 5 wise virgins were not 'taken';  they went into the chamber!)
  • (re: Haggai ch. 1)  Israel, in all their labors, their 'religion', was for naught.  They built the temple, 'half-heartedly', without the dedication to build it with reverence for its function.  It couldn't compare to the first temple,  (tabenacle), because those (first) builders were diligent and reverent for the 'holiness' of what they built.
  • (re: Heb. 3:7-15): do not harden your heart: If you are not diligent, 24/7 in your life, you lose the care and concern for being diligent. This leads to not appreciating the sacrifice Christ gave; cheapens that sacrifice;  and takes the value away from the precious gift you were promised, if you remain steadfast. It also dimishes God's 'name', His holiness, HIs righteousness, His justness.

  • (re: ) Prov 15:8:  the sacrifices of evildoers are scorned.
  • (re:) Lev. 20:4  Those who don't reprimand or ignore, ('turn their eyes from ...), what is scripturally 'evil' are as guilty as the one committing the evil.
  • (re:) Luke 16:25: The 'evil' that Lazarus experienced was not 'evil acts' committed to him; that evil was the events and circumstances he endured in his life,  as opposed to the 'good' (life) the rich man experienced.
  • (re:)  Prov. 15:12:  someone who detests, scorns, TRUTH, and God's Word, hates anyone who reprimands him; therefore, he will never seek advice or counsel of that kind of (righteous) person.
  • (re:) Gal 1:8-9:  (to those whom Paul preached the Gospel, or, who had heard it:), Stick to the pure Word of God,  Refute all discrepancies to what you originally heard; they are lies, perversions of Truth.  v.9 repeats this; IT'S THAT IMPORTANT!
  • (re:) Ezek. 2: 5-8:  Odd, that nowhere is the prophet warned about any physical attacks; yet we know they happened.  He is only admonished about the 'words' from the "briars and thorns" and the words of the "scorpions"  he was sent to, and to tell what God says, and has said.
  • (re:) 2 Cor. 14:32:  "The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets"  Suspect anyone who says otherwise, (i.e., 'that God is speaking to them, for you!),  of 'having an ulterior motive!'
    • cf:  Heb. 1:1 - 2:  'God, who used to speak through His prophets to our ancestors, has now spoken to us, by Christ. (who is the WORD of GOD).
