- (re: "RACA" in Matt. 5:22) ...is a transliteration from Aramaic Reka; meaning a 'dolt', an empty (brain/) person who cannot know or understand the teaching of the rabbi. In Hebrew, a "fool" is far worse; i.e. one who can know and understand, but chooses not to. (cf: Is. 14:1 "...The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God...' ...none doeth good")
