NOTES or Observations
  • There are no 'chosen' poeple, who only will be saved:  "if anyone opens the door when HE knocks, HE will come in and sup with him"  Rev. 11:20.
  • Only those (Jews?) who overcome, will sit on HIS throne.    Rev. 3:21
  • Let your light shine!  Don't be silent when evil is spoken, as if it is  GOD's word.  Luke 11:33.
  • What was Israel chosen to do, to be?  Acts 3:24 - E.
  • How is Jesus the 'end of the law?  He was obedient in all of it, (not 'the letter of the law', but the Spirit of the law)!  He fulfilled all the law and the Prophets. By obeying Christ's example of 'how to live', the Law is transformed, from doing the letter, to "living righteously", which was the lesson written in the law.  Acts 28:23.
  • We are made partakers, IF we hold fast the beginning of our confidence, till the end. Heb. 3:14
  • We need to labor, in order to enter into the rest, (Sabbath!), and avoid falling into the same example Israel showed, of unbelief.  They didn't DO,  == 'unbelief'.  Heb. 4:11.
  •  If we have been born again, IF christ is 'in us', then we ought to follow Christ's example: even though He was tempted in all points, He was without sin!  Heb. 4:15.
  • Paul also gives the exhortation to be sinless:  Rom. 6:12 - 16!
