Notes, relevant references:
  • (re: Jer. 25:10) '...the voice of the bride, and the voice of the bridegroom shall no more be heard in Jerusalem', repeats  Jer. 7:34;
  • (re: Jer. 25:31);  HE has a controversy with ALL the nations;  America, whose government has biblical foundations for liberty, etc., is not the ultimate government;  Is. 9:6:  "the government will be upon HIS shoulders..."
  • (re: Joel 2:13)  'rend your hearts, not your garments...' is an admonition to don't do lip-service; don't "virtue-signal";  instead, be and do what you ought, Israel. Repent! Be converted! Forsake your wicked, cruel, evil ways.
  • (re: Is. 44:9) '...you shall be your won witnesses...' Your gods you made can do nothing; they neither speak, hear, or move;  You will, one day, bow your knee, and confess that these creatures, creations from your imagination,  are not God, and will know God is GOD.
