Notes, related thoughts and
- (re: Matt. 25): a comparison of 'TAKEN' and the 5 foolish virgins: it's not good to be 'taken'! (notice, the 5 wise virgins were not 'taken'; they went into the chamber!)
- (re: Haggai ch. 1) Israel, in all their labors, their 'religion', was for naught. They built the temple, 'half-heartedly', without the dedication to build it with reverence for its function. It couldn't compare to the first temple, (tabenacle), because those (first) builders were diligent and reverent for the 'holiness' of what they built.
- (re: Heb. 3:7-15): do not harden your heart: If you are not diligent, 24/7 in your life, you lose the care and concern for being diligent. This leads to not appreciating the sacrifice Christ gave; cheapens that sacrifice; and takes the value away from the precious gift you were promised, if you remain steadfast. It also dimishes God's 'name', His holiness, HIs righteousness, His justness.
